Do you have your pitch number and have you seen our park map to get to your pitch? (your pitch number is at the top of the email you received and a map on our park can also be found on that email of just a bit lower on this screen)

Do we have the correct vehicle registration so our ANPR barrier will let you in? (if your in doubt please check the 1st step below otherwise the barrier wont open for you)

  • that we have the correct email address and phone number that you can access while on holiday
  • that you have provided your vehicle registration/s. You will not be able to access the park without this as we have an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition barrier system.)

2. Pitch Information

Once you have your pitch number you can use the chart below to get directions to your pitch. You can also use our park map to help you drive straight to your pitch on arrival.

You do not need to check in once you arrive, however please feel free to pop into reception on your arrival to say hello or if you have any questions.

How to get to my Pitch, Serviced Hard Standing 1 - 32

All serviced pitches to have the caravan/motorhome/campervan to the left hand side with the awning next door and your car pulled in front (avoiding the grass). Please don’t erect or park anything on the grass.

Pitches 1,2,3,4,4a,5,6 – Drive in the main entrance, pass the main building on the right hand side and turn immediately left. Follow the middle island around to the left your pitches will be on the right hand side starting with 6 back up to 1. Pitch 4a is in the corner

Pitches 7, 27, 28, 29 & 32 – Drive in the main entrance, turn immediately left (before the box hedge). Pitch 32 is the first pitch on the right. For pitch 7 follow the slight slope down and around the island to the right. Your pitch will then be on the left hand side. Pitch 29 will be on the right hand side. For pitch 28 & 27 follow the island back up towards the main building and the pitch will be on your right hand side

Pitches 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 – Drive in the main entrance, pass the main building on the right hand side and turn immediately left. Pitch 16 is the first pitch on the right. Pitch 15 is slightly further down (slightly back on yourselves). All other pitches please turn right (before the branch around to the left) pitch number 8 is then on your left hand side working all the way around to pitch 14.

Pitches 17, 18, 19, 21 & 23- Drive in the main entrance, pass the main building on the right hand side. Keep driving straight and pitch 17 will be the first pitch on the left, followed by pitch 18 then pitch 19.  Pitch 23 is on the right opposite Pitch 19 and Pitch 21 will be directly in front of you to the right of the driveway

For all grass type pitches, including rally field and grass hard standing. Please DO NOT enter the park via the main entrance (the main entrance will be directly in front of you as you come onto the driveway) instead please turn left onto the camping field/rally field just before the main entrance.

Please plug into the electric box with your pitch number on it

All pitches will either be marked with red stakes at the back and red blocks at the front, or separated within hedge rows. Please DO NOT position any unit or guide ropes outside your pitch.

Grass Electric 33 -37  Once you have turned left down the track keep driving for approximately 50 metres. Your pitches are on the front row in front of the toilet block, as the main track bends around to the right pitch 33 will be the first pitch on the left

Grass Electric Pitch 38 – 41 Once you have turned left down the track keep driving for approximately 50 metres. Follow the main drive around to the right and past the toilet block. Take the first left straight after the toilet block and your pitches are on the right hand side before the play area.

Grass Electric 42 – 55  Once you have turned left down the track & keep driving for approximately 50 metres then take the first branch off to the left and then turn immediately right. Pitches 50-55 will be on the left hand side, with pitches 42-47 on the right hand side

Grass Electric Pitches 56-68 & 48 & 49  Once you have turned left down the track, keep driving for approximately 50 metres, then follow the branch off to the left. Pitches 48 & 49 will be the first pitches on the left (on the shorter hedge) Pitch 68 will then be in the far corner in front of you, following the bluish gravel all the pitches will then be on the left hand side until you get to the play area.

Grass Hard Standing Pitches 70-76  Once you have turned left down the track keep driving for approximately 50 metres. Follow the main drive around to the right and past the toilet block. Take the first left straight after the toilet block. Follow the bluish gravel track along and around to the left, pitches will start with pitch 70 on your left hand side. On these pitches please ensure that your unit, awning and car are all positioned on the gravel area and NOT on the grass.

Rally Field Pitches 80-onwards Once you have turned left off the main driveway look immediately left, Pitch 93 will be the first pitch on the left hand side (backing onto the driveway) all other pitches will then follow the boundary around the field, including the hedge at the bottom.

Shepherds Hut – As you arrive on the drive way, follow the sign to the left for the Shepherd’s Hut. Once you have turned left down the track keep driving for approximately 50 metres. Follow the main drive around to the right and past the toilet block. The Shepherd’s Hut will be straight in front of you, with a small area on the other side of the track to park your car. The key will be in the door for you.

Lodge Bookings –  Upon on arrival, please drive straight in our main entrance, past the main building on the right hand side, carry on straight forward and you will see our  Linwood Lodge a bit further on the left of the hedges. The keys will be in the front door for you.

ARRIVAL

Please be aware AT ALL TIMES of height Barrier at Entrance

The Park only admits family groups and couples

Large family groups by arrangement

Pitch fees are payable before arrival

We regret that we are unable to offer any refunds.

DEPARTURE

Pitches must be vacated by 11am on day of departure

VEHICLES

The Speed Limit of 5MPH must be observed throughout the Park at all Times

One Vehicle per pitch is permitted. Additional vehicles only by prior arrangement

Vehicles are only to be driven by persons holding a full driving licence and valid insurance policy

NOISE & GAMES

Strictly no music after 10pm. You will be asked to turn if off after this time

Please respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum at all times

Anybody making noise or causing disturbance may be asked to leave immediately

Ball games and kite flying will not be permitted near vans and pitches

Cycling, ball games and kite flying are not permitted within the gravel area of the park

Generators are not permitted unless by prior arrangements

No Drones or radio-controlled aircraft

CHILDREN

Children must be under the supervision of their parent/guardian on all areas of the park at all times, including the play area

The lakes/dog walk area is strictly out of bounds to all non-accompanied children. No access to the play area after dusk and before 9am

DOGS & PETS

Pets must be kept on a lead at all times on and around the park (including our dog walk)

Please clean up after your pet and use the bins provided

Do not leave your pet unattended at any time

We reserve the right to require that the owner removes their dog or any other pet from the park if it is a nuisance or danger to other guests

FIRES & BARBECUES

FIRES ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON SITE. NO LOG BURNERS, FIRE BASKETS, BURNING WOOD OR CHINESE LANTERNS

Gas or charcoal bbq’s may be used provided they are raised off the grass

FISHING

When fishing barbless hooks only to be used

Discard used hooks and line safely

No swimming in the lake

One rod per person – Landing nets must be used

No Night Fishing

ACCIDENTS & INSURANCE

Caravans, their occupants and vehicles, enter the park at their owner’s risk

No responsibility is accepted for loss, damage or injury on the park however caused

We strongly advise guests check that they have appropriate insurances for the period of their stay

All accidents or incidents on the park must be reported and recorded at reception

The proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission or ask any guest failing to comply with these rules to leave the park immediately

HEALTH & SAFETY

For the safety and wellbeing of our guests we ask that you comply with the following:

Cars, caravans and awnings must be contained within the pitch reserved. Any units not adhering to our strict fire safety spacing rule will be asked to re-position the unit. Please make yourself aware of the nearest fire points. The park is responsible for the electrical system up to the socket on the hook-up point at the pitch. It is the responsibility of the camper to ensure that the camper’s unit is safe. the park will not accept any responsibility for any accident or loss arising from the use of unsuitable or unsafe electrical equipment connected to the park’s hook-up point. It is the responsibility of the camper to ensure gas appliances are safe and regularly maintained. No heaters in awnings please.

3. Check In Times

Check-in times are from 12:30 for all pitches and shepherd hut. 4 pm for our lodges. Check out is 11am for pitches and 10am for our lodges.

When you arrive please double check you are on the correct pitch, otherwise, you will be asked to move.

On Arrival - Smart Metering

Starting from the 2024 season, we have introduced Smart Metered Electric. With this initiative, we have lowered our standard nightly fee, enabling our guests to pay only for the electric they use while also reducing our carbon footprint and yours.

When you arrive at your pitch you will need to top up your electric account, follow the instructions below.  Please be aware that it can take up to 30 minutes for the system to register your first payment and the electricity to come on, therefore we recommend pre payment if you are in a rush to get the kettle on.

If you have already pre paid for some electric at the time of your booking or before you arrive, all you need to do is plug in, turn the switch to the right and you’re good to go.  You can log onto your account at your leisure once you are all set up, or pop into reception to add more credit.

 

1. Adding Electric to Your Pitch

You will need the last 6 digits of your booking reference, for example, your reference is HCF/1421262/918312, you will need HCF/918312, this is displayed at the top of your email in the subject and also on any email you have received about your booking.

You also need the electric box PIN number displayed on the electric panel on your hook-up unit.

Once you have these, move onto the next step

2. E-Pitch Log In

3. Adding Funds

1. Click on Booking Login

2. Enter your PIN code starting with 000, located on the electric box on your pitch.  Click to confirm

3. Enter you booking reference (HCF/last six digits of your booking reference).  Click to confirm

4. You can now see your account.

5. Click on “Top up your account” to add more monies.  Select how much you would like top your account up and then click “Pay with Stripe”

6. Enter your card details and click on “Pay now”. Please allow a time delay of 3 mins for a system refresh.

7. You can also add funds at reception 9am -4pm Monday to Saturday 9am – 2pm Sunday

6. If you are unable to add funds due to a card payment failure, please try a different card or device. If you are still unable to add funds please go to reception or if out of hours call us on the site emergency phone number.

4. Prices

Price per KWH is £0.36p Average use is around 7.5kwh per night, depending on the size of your van and the amount of electrical equipment you are running.

If you have any credit left at the end of your stay, we can transfer this to your next booking with us. If you would like a refund, we can do this in Reception.

9am -4pm Monday to Saturday & 9am – 2pm Sunday.

There is £1.50 admin/ card processing fee charge for refunds of Electric.

If you want to check your balance during your stay, simply log into E-PITCH again, click on the 3 lines on the top right of the screen and your balance will be shown.
